Jeff's 28th PoKeR pARTY!

Happy 28th Birthday Jeff!! We spent his real birthday with the fam @ CPW this wed. We had a great time with the two sets of grandparents...and great gma Lois. Tyler also graced us with his appearance:) On Friday, Jeff old roomies, Steven and Nicole came down from Richmond to spend the weekend with us to celebrate the birthday boy big day! We took them out to Ham's for some old memories of the many days they spent at the one in Rocky Mount. Then back to our house to hang out. Kathryn of course was the first to pass...out...followed by me:) (I was exhausted from spending all day cleaning and from helping my dad build JB awesome bday prize) Sat. we all woke up for breakfast (well except for Steven of course...he needed extra beauty sleep) Jeff did our normal drive around all the breakfast joints complaining on why they all are so busy...and then we drove right back to good ole' faithful Bojo's. (BTW~I have swore off Bojangles's this week...I think we had everyday last week!!!) Nicole and I spent the day fixing up the Poker decor and she did a wonderful job babysitting Katie Bee(THANK U). Even allowing KB to nap on her for an hour! I packed Katie Bee's Going to Grandparents bag...and they picked her up at the perfect time bc she GOT time to rub Baby Blake's feet! ha ha Being the professional poker/card chewer and chip thrower we fig. that she was better off not mingling with us armatures. We had around 20 great friends come join us for a wonderful and special birthday. After about 1000 oysters and tons appetizers it was time for the CAKE. I had got Jeff a special Poker Cake and had found sparklers for the top. Unfortunately I set the fire alarms off for a gooooood five min! OOooOOopss! The poker game started off strong...however the real game was conducted by LeAnn "catch phrase"! LOVE LOVE LOVE that game! With 2 teams of 5 we battled each other...OooH I DONT THINK I have laughed that hard since the ole' CoUrTnEY Square/Tennis days with the roomies!! From...Scot-tie Pippn',Kevin Costner in Armagedons, and just "RUSS" it was def. a night to remember!! After we had played the game for 3 hours we ran out of cards...so on to pictionary! My facebook wifey Heather... read my mind so most of the time I didnt have to draw...she IS my BUG SPRAY for life:) hahaha! After- another hour we had to mix up pictionary/with acting pictionary...whoa too funny! By 12ish...I think we were all laughed out...BUT the poker game was still going! At 1ish we had a winner...STEVEN...followed by HUTCH..and the BIRTHDAY BOY!:) What a great night! Thanks to all our wonderful new and old friends for making it such a special night!
